Terms and Conditions
Effective September 7, 2026.
These terms apply when you use the Easy Background Remover Chrome extension or this website. By using either, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or website.
What the product does
Easy Background Remover helps you create image cutouts in Chrome, refine edges, and export the result. Processing is designed to run in your browser; the first launch or a later update may download an on-device model.
The extension is a general-purpose editing tool. You are responsible for checking that an exported image is suitable for its intended use.
Your images and permitted use
You keep your rights to images you process and to the results you create. You must have permission to use the source material and must not use the product to violate copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Do not misuse the extension or website, interfere with their operation, attempt to bypass security controls, or use them for unlawful activity.
Availability and changes
The extension and website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features, supported formats, browser requirements, and availability may change. We may correct, suspend, or discontinue part of the product when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product development.
Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, and any websites or applications where you use an exported image are third-party services governed by their own terms.
No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect cutout quality, compatibility with every image, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Easy Background Remover and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the product. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the minimum required by applicable law.
Privacy
How images, local storage, model downloads, and permissions are handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
